DESCRIPTION:IUJ invites you to its annual school festival “International Festival.” Enjoy international dishes prepared by IUJ students. Feast your eyes on a 3-hour stage show displaying some of the 60 cultures on our campus\, including Japan. \nThis year\, as a special feature\, 8 countries/regions will take on the “International Onigiri Challenge.” They will create an original onigiri “riceball” dish to combine Japan’s traditional food made with the wonderful Koshihikari rice of our area with the flavors or their country! The International Onigiri Challenge is sponsored by the Niigata Prefecture and Minami Uonuma city. \nMeet IUJ students using English or Japanese to discover the world.\nThis event is wonderful for children\, young adults\, adults\, seniors and the elderly alike! Join us! \n=======================================\nInternational Festival 2018 (Open Day)\nDate: Saturday\, May 12\, 2018\nTime: PM 2:00 – PM 6:00 \nSchedule:\n2pm – food booths open\n2:30pm – stage show starts \n“International Onigiri Challenge”\n12:30pm-1:30pm special introduction to their new Onigiri (space is very limited)\n2:00pm – until they run out of food\, service to the community at the festival booths.\n======================================= \nPlease note: Food services start at 2pm\, and run for a few hours or until the food runs out.
